Triple Mushroom Pizza

Our family have healthy easy homemade pizza recipes.

These are the ones with little or no meat and we use low fat cheese, both in an attempt to reduce the fat content in our diet.

Homemade pizzas are so simple and the kids make the pizzas to their liking, with as much or as little topping as they choose. Fortunately, our children do like healthy food and this triple mushroom is a real favorite.

It's easy.

The toppings are readily available in the supermarket and likely to be already in your refrigerator.

Easy Homemade Pizza Recipes - Triple Mushroom

Allow 1 pizza per serving.

Just Add Prepare
• flat, round bread such as Lebanese bread

• tomato paste

• 10 - 12 mushrooms, sliced

• shredded low fat tasty cheese

• Preheat oven at 360F/180C

• Line the base pizza tray or baking tray with aluminum foil

• Place a round of Lebanese bread in lined tray

• Spread with tomato paste

• Top with sliced mushrooms to whatever quantity you prefer. We like a generous topping of mushies.

• Sprinkle the top with low fat tasty cheese

• Bake for 20 minutes till golden brown and the cheese has melted

Cut up into six parts.

Your supermarket will have a variety of types of round flat bread. We choose flat Lebanese bread because it is not too thick.

Most pizzas use a Mozzarella Cheese which melts easily. To reduce the fat content, we choose to omit one type of cheese. In this healthy pizza recipe, we choose to omit the mozzarella and top with low fat tasty cheese.

We use shredded low fat tasty cheese to top the pizza as we like the sharp taste.


For a family of four, we generally make 5 - 6 pizzas depending on how hungry the children are.
