Easy Beef Casserole

This very easy beef casserole is cooked in a slow cooker and when the meat is cooked, just add in the remainder of the ingredients. Warm it through and by the time you set the table and make a salad, the casserole's ready.

Like our other recipes, this casserole is absolutely yummy!

Beef Casserole

This recipe serves 6 - 8 persons.

Serve with short pasta or rice, with vegetables or salad.

Just Add Prepare
• 3 lb/1.5 kg diced gravy beef, cut chunkily

• 1/4 cup red wine vinegar

• 2 tbsp golden syrup

• 1 cup water

• salt and pepper to taste

• 1 can/14 oz/400gm diced tomatoes

• 1 cup sour cream

• 1 cup tomato paste

• 1 tbsp flour

• Place diced meat, golden syrup, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper and water into the slow cooker

• Cook on low for 6 hours

• Add in all the other ingredients and combine well

• Turn heat up to high and cook for at least 1/2 hour till it bubbles and thickens

This easy casserole will be ready by the time you've cooked the pasta, made the salad and set the table.

This beef casserole is dee-lee-cious! You and the family will just love it.

Serve with fluffy rice or short pasta and fresh vegetables.


Should you need to add extra water to the casserole while the slow cooker is already hot, be sure only ever to add hot water.
